What does the way you dress say about you? Look at the beauty and sophistication of women such as Lena Horne, Dorothy Dandridge, Grace Kelly, and Elizabeth Taylor. Women of their caliber could turn the heads of both women and men alike. No skin needed to be flaunted because there was no speculation about their femininity. They were all woman and it reflected not only in their highly publicized lives but also in their everyday lives. They presented themselves as graceful, poised, yet dominating forces in the world.
We fast
forward to today where women leave out of their homes in pajamas, scarves and
night caps
on their heads, and house shoes on their feet. Needless to say, women are just looking less
than their fabulous self. There seems to
be a misconception that showing more makes you more appealing or sexier to the
opposite sexy. It is said that what you
throw out, is what you get back.
We as
women must always remain CLASSY. Just
because something is made in your size does not mean you should purchase
it. This goes for women of all shapes
and sizes. You need to know what works
for you. Accentuate your best asset. There are different ways to do that. If you have great legs, elongate them by
adding a gorgeous pair of nude or skin tone heels. This gives your legs the appearance that they
are long. Body shapers help to show a
slimmer, smoother version of you and push-up bras help to enhance cleavage.
Always
present yourself as a lady. The way you
dress, carry yourself, even speak all reflect the woman you are. Looking back at the women of yesteryear all
you were able to see or pick up from them is that they were in a class of their
own. Never give people the opportunity
to assume something about you based simply on the way you dress. Remain a lady at all times and stay classy.
