A kind word spoken from the heart can melt anger and bring peace and harmony between people. A gentle loving touch can ease another person’s emotional stress and relax their mind. It only takes a minute to be kind and serve someone else in dire need. Reaching out to others with understanding and acceptance, we are letting the spirit of God weave us together in love. The universe will not be complete without our loving hearts and helping hands. If we continue to assist and take one step at a time, we can make a difference and save one life at a time. It is God’s life within that connects us in love. God’s spirit is within all people, so I recognize that each and every person is a wonder to behold. I hope and pray that we will continue to come together during those times of greatest needs. Allow our steps to be guided to lead us to the people who need our love, support and encouragement. We can all become a blessing by helping others during this difficult time to overcome doubt and fear—by sharing the joy and love that comes from knowing God. God’s love is strong enough to still raging waters, pounding thunder, striking lightning, mudslides and earthquakes, yet gentle enough to relax our minds, remove our fears and soothe the tender soul that cries out in the dark.

When we envision the light of God’s presence continually surrounding us, we experience the joys of resting in His peace. Now I understand that everlasting comfort of a hug, snuggle and warm embrace, which gives me a sense of security if only for a moment. God is with us to give us all a warm embrace that provides us with strength, help, protection, all the love we could ever possibly need. The presence of God is within all people and lasting happiness and peace come from within. When they are ours, then people and happenings come and go but joy remains ours forever. I believe there is nothing greater than experiencing and knowing the divine power of true love, for loving is the ultimate of experiences.

 I believe every person has a longing to be accepted, supported, loved, and comforted. I believe we all have a spiritual connection, one that unites us all in a meaningful, long-lasting relationship on Earth. I honestly believe within each and every one of us, together we are praying for and working toward bringing more love into the world. So we must, at last, accept full responsibility for the success or failure of our relationships and try to better know who we are, who the other is, and what dynamics are required to bring us together as a whole and keep us united. Yes, it’s a challenge but one that I honestly believe we can all defeat and which we may profit, realizing that, over time, the more we strive to learn about one another and accept each other, the greater will be our ability to truly come together as a race and love each other.

I am a firm believer in miracles. I believe there is still hope for a better tomorrow. I believe in existence a greater love. I believe we can rise above our challenges that we face each and every day as a nation. I believe in unending possibilities. I believe there is a longing within our hearts and we silently cry out to know God and the power of divine love.
