As the intro to her show The Real McCoy on TV1 states, she’s a “daddy’s girl from the south side of Chicago”.  Born

LisaRaye McCoy to a successful business man and a beautiful professional model on September 23, 1967, she was destined for success.  LisaRaye has drive, ambition, beauty, and a mind for business.

During her career she has worked with artists such as the legendary Tupac Shakur, Sisqo of Dru Hill, Ginuwine, and

Lil Kim but her break through role was in 1998 as Diana “Diamond” Armstrong in The Players Club.  This left a

lasting impression with both men and women alike.  Now the world officially knew the half sister of rapper Da Brat.

She has graced the screen in memorable roles in movies like The Wood, Civil Brand, and a cameo in Beauty Shop. 

LisaRaye has been voted Black Men Magazine’s “Sexiest Woman of the Year” in both 2000 and 2001.  She was nominated

in 2007 for a NAACP Image Award for her role as Neese James in the 2003-2007 sitcom All of Us.  She has also been

voted one of the top five Rising Female Stars by Ebony Magazine.

 All of which have lead her to her current role as Kiesha, a former video girl looking for a rich man to keep her accustomed to the lavish life she prefers to live.  But you can no longer just call her an actress, mother, spokeswoman, business woman, or First Lady.  She has recently added designer to the list of remarkable things she can do.  She has the LisaRaye Collection jean line that will be coming out this summer that is affiliated with PZI Jeans.  You can follow her on twitter @TheRealLRaye where she gives constant updates about her annual B2B (Back 2 Business) conference and latest of what’s going on with LisaRaye.

 
With everything that this amazing woman has been through and has accomplished she just keeps going.  She is not just a beautiful face and a gorgeous body.  She has an exceptional mind as well.  Regardless to the numerous nominations and awards LisaRaye McCoy still manages to keep it real with her fans.
