Kanye West to Launch A New Fashion Line
Artist Kanye West has just launched his new shoe line to be open to the public...but get this his prices are far more expensive than some of the well grounded designers. Kanye has been busy working on his new fashion line and doing his tour with rapper Jay-Z this past year. Kanye's first pair of designer dressy shoes have gone on sale in Paris, France and London with a whopping price of $5,885.00. You know I understand high fashion or more so couture fashion darling, but $6,000 for a pair of shoes can sometimes take it a little too extreme...but hey, it may work for some people. He has also been working with Nike and Louis Vuitton that designed his new sneaker line. Everybody who knows me ..knows I am a Louis girl !! Rapper Wiz Khalifa Put A Ring On It ..Go Amber!!
Amber Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa are engaged! The two announced the engagement on March 1, 2012. Amber states that Wiz is the sweetest guy and that the fame did not affect his personality, she states that she always loves being with her "baby". Wiz stepped up to the plate only after one year of dating and gave Amber a beautiful oval solitaire diamond. I promise you guys 2012 is the year of love and marriage.
Toni Braxton and Eddie Murphy ....Hmmmmmmm...
Well people reports are saying that actor Eddie Murphy and the beautiful songstress Toni Braxton are dating. Eddie has had quite a few romances with beautiful women in the industry, and now Toni Braxton is on the list. The two have been dating for the past four months, and I heard their children have met. Toni had a recent concert, and Eddie was supposedly backstage for support. I guess when Toni did that song for the movie Boomerang, "Love Should Have Brought You Home Last Night" , she probably would have never imagined he would actually be coming home to her.

Today was a somber day throughout the world, we gave our final good byes to the legendary Whitney Houston. Our hearts still ache for her voice and that energetic smile, family and several celebrities gave their last good byes to Ms Houston.
Sad to say Bobby Brown left the funeral of his ex-wife after 15 minutes, he did arrive to attend the funeral with his entourage - but at the beginning of the service he and his guests were asked to move three times. Bobby Brown felt as if he was disrespected on these times and he decided to leave the funeral. I hate that happened, because I do feel that Whitney would have wanted him there, and no matter how we feel about their marriage - no one knows what went on in their household. So I wish that they would stop putting all the blame on Bobby, he deserves to say his good bye to his ex-wife.
Singer Ray J broke down at the funeral, and sister Brandy was there to comfort him. Alicia Keys , Oprah and Gayle, Kevin Costner, Tyler Perry, Bishop TD Jakes and his wife, Stevie Wonder, Rev. Kim Burrell, , Monica, Jordan Sparks, The Winans, Jennifer Hudson and Donnie McClurkin were all present.

Whitney Houston's NJ Home Still On The Market
Our beloved, the late Whitney Houston's New Jersey home is still on the market for $1.75 Million. This is the home that Whitney was living in when she married Bobby Brown in 1992. This home has been on and off the market for years. This home is also the home where Whitney dabbled in the drugs with then husband Bobby Brown. The home is only being shown to buyers that can show $1.5 Million Dollars in liquid assets. The 12,000 sq foot home was previously listed for $5.6 Million by Ms Houston herself. ~Mechelle
A Look Back at Whitney Houstons Life...We Have Truly Lost A Great One
I am still saddened by Whitney Houston's death this past weekend in Los Angeles, CA ...I was going through her life in pictures and decided to share some of those photos with you . Her energy was the greatest, her voice was smooth as velvet, and her style was classy.
We miss you Whitney, here at Trendsetters Magazine we are praying for her mom, Cissy Houston and her daughter, Bobbi Christina who has now flown to New Jersey to prepare for Ms. Houstons burial on Saturday, Feb 18, 2012. Whitney's funeral services will take place at her childhood church in New Jersey...Momma Cissy took that baby back home to her roots - I am so glad she will be laid to rest where everything started for her. Rest In Peace Whitney, I know God was smiling to see one of HIS children come on home. Best and Worst Dressed At The Grammy's 2012
The Grammy's this year was covered with a somber cloud , one day after the beautiful Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room in Beverly Hills. Whitney's death has been a shock for so many people, I am still trying to grasp her death.
Despite her death, some of the artists were able to keep it together and give us some style. And there were some that need to fire their stylists, and these were the worse dressed. I am not sure what some of these were thinking, better yet...they weren't thinking!! Let's take a look at the best dressed first:

Whitney Houston Dead at 48...We Miss You Already!
The beautiful songstress Whitney Houston was pronounced dead Saturday, Feb 11 , 2012 at 3:55 pm at the Beverly Hilton. She was found in her room by her bodyguard.
This news is such a shock, her music was felt around the world. Whitney Houston touched us with her music, her personality and her marriage to Limited Edition member, Bobby Brown.
The two were married in 1992 and stayed married until 2006, they had one daughter during their marriage - Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown. Whitney was known in past years to have a dependance on alcohol and drugs, which she would use with her husband, Bobby Brown.
Nevertheless, Whitney was loved and admired by so many - we wanted the best for her!! God blessed Whitney with a voice that was like no other...there will never be another.
New York Fashion Week...But What Happened?
OK everybody, New York Fashion Week festivities have begun in New York and usually you see some really nice designer pieces, tailored dresses and the list goes on and on - for some reason...I am not too sure about some of the outfits the celebrities are wearing, nor some of the weaves... check it out and tell me if you see what I see...talk to me, I want to know what you think? Jay-Z's Concert at Carnegie Hall Was For A Good Cause
Remember I was telling you about Jay-Z's concert at Carnegie Hall last week, well the concert was great!
Jay-Z has been crossing so many boundaries - he is definitely a music mogul that had experienced all types of life.
Jay-Z was accompanied with a 30 peice orchestra. This concert was for the benefit of United Way New York City and Shawn Carter Corporation.
Alicia Keys joined him pn stage for the song, "Empire State of Mind". He also performed the song "Glory", this is the song he wrote for his daughter - Blue Ivy.
Beyonce was at the concert looking fabulous after having her baby, Nas was in attendance, and Liza Minelli.
That man is truly in a New York state of mind.
